Marco!

Had a fun shoot with Marco and his dad this morning. After a little shyness Marco opened up and we had fun playing chase and throwing snowballs. That big smile and those big brown eyes are going to melt some hearts in a few years...

P90X Fitness Photography

P90X is a big fitness video right now and I've always admired the photography that accompanies the cd's and marketing so I thought I'd try to hook up a P90X style photoshoot.

3k pictures, 7 models, 3 different light setups, and a photo marathon at my new studio space. Let the results speak for themselves!

Pictures in Print

I've had nearly 5,000 of my images licensed as stock in the past couple of years but have discovered it is really difficult to figure out where they are being used.

Monica, one of the model's I work with, sent me an email a few days ago telling me she found her pictures(that I took) in print!

Senior 2011

I wanted to share some images from this morning's senior session with Eric who attends Middleton High School. He's hoping to be accepted to UW-Madison and study Engineering or Pre-Med and he's passionate about snowboarding. We photographed using a combination of studio and natural light:

1 Year old

Ahh the Memorial Union Terrace, so many good memories from college and a great place for a photo shoot! Molly and family met me there today for her 1 year session. Hard to believe it's been one entire year already, from this to this:

New model Nicole rocked it in front of the camera for a few hours today. She did a great job and as a result I was able to capture some great photographs for both of our portfolios:

Family Photos

I photographed this family on their property near Evansville. Their place had a ton of sweet spots to shoot, old barns and doorways and rusted tin. Here are a few of my favs from the session:

Wedding: Nick and Jennifer

Timepiece Studio photographed a sweet little wedding in Mequon today. The couple had a really relaxed attitude so it felt good to just capture the moments as they happened. We also stopped at Lake Michigan for some quick photos, nice! Congrats guys, thanks for having us be part of your day!

Twins!

A big "thank you" goes out to mom and dad for 1. Making the drive to my place and 2. Being super wranglers for these two active boys!
They were a moving target almost the entire time but I was still able to grab some great photos, take a look:

Senior: Steve

I met Steve at his farm a few days ago for his senior pictures, he did an awesome job! He's a multi sport athlete and all-around nice guy..his family was teasing him about becoming a model but I don't think that's his first career choice over farming. Anyway, on to some sweet pictures:
